Iran Congratulates Saudi Arabia on National Day

The recently reopened embassy of Iran in Riyadh shared the news on the social network X (formerly Twitter), which also included images of the two letters. The letters were addressed to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his son, Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was founded on September 23, 1932, by King Salman’s father, Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Iran and Saudi Arabia agreed to restore relations after a seven-year break in March under a deal negotiated by China. Both countries reopened their diplomatic missions and exchanged ambassadors.
