
Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef held bilateral meetings with leaders of several international companies specializing in advanced manufacturing technologies and marine industries. The discussions, held on the sidelines of the ninth Future Investment Initiative (FII9) in Riyadh, focused on expanding joint cooperation, reviewing the objectives of the National Industrial Strategy, and exploring investment opportunities in areas such as ship design, construction, maintenance, and technology transfer to the Kingdom.
High-Value Sectors
During the meetings, the minister highlighted the enablers and incentives offered by Saudi Arabia’s industrial ecosystem to support specialized investments and empower investors, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The discussions also emphasized the supportive regulatory framework, infrastructure, and programs available to attract global partners and enhance competitiveness in high-value industrial sectors.
Strategic Partnerships, Agreements
Minister Alkhorayef met with leaders from prominent global companies, including Taiwan’s GIGABYTE Group, Giga Computing Technology, Italy’s Fincantieri and D-Orbit, and the U.S.-based Intel Corporation. He also witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the National Industrial Development Center and Fincantieri, aimed at strengthening partnerships in marine industries.
These engagements underscored Saudi Arabia’s commitment to fostering strategic global alliances and advancing its position as a hub for innovation and industrial excellence.
