ICAIRE Launches Global “AI Glossary Challenge” to Advance Responsible AI

The International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), a UNESCO-affiliated organization based in Riyadh, has announced the launch of the AI Glossary Challenge. This global initiative invites researchers, students, and professionals to create knowledge tools that contribute to a more responsible AI landscape. By standardizing terminology and building a shared knowledge framework, the challenge seeks to encourage ethical and consistent use of advanced technologies worldwide.
The competition features three main tracks. The AI Glossary Tools track focuses on developing digital solutions such as APIs and governance dashboards. The Dataset Creation track aims to produce high-quality, unbiased cultural datasets. Meanwhile, the Cultural Hallucinations Tools track centers on identifying and interpreting contextual inaccuracies in large language models, improving their ability to function across diverse cultural settings.

Hosted on the Kaggle platform, the challenge offers prizes to top-performing teams, with the goal of building a dedicated community around AI ethics. Participants can register through the official ICAIRE website.
