The first honey festival will be held in Adham Governorate on the fifteenth of this month, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region.

The event witnessed the participation of some government departments, social development committees, and charitable foundations, under the slogan “Mountain, Wadi, and Pure Honey.”

Adham Governor Abdullah Al-Fifi lauded Prince Khaled Al-funding Faisal’s of the event, which stems from his support for all development, tourist, economic, and cultural programs and activities at the Makkah area and governorates.

He stated that the festival, which is being held for the first time at the governorate level, aims to highlight the tourism movement, promote economic, social, and cultural development, assist beekeepers in marketing their products, increase their investment opportunities in honey and agricultural products, and ensure a good financial return for them.

He went on to say that the festival’s activities will include displaying various types of honey that characterize the Adham Governorate and its Tihama and mountainous environment, such as Sidr honey, Samra honey, Talh honey, Al-Dhahyan honey, and others.
