Visitors to the Grand Mosque are provided with health care 24 hours a day, seven days a week through three emergency centers in the Grand Mosque, operated by the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Community.
Al-Haram Emergency Center No. (1) is located on the first floor of the King Fahd Expansion, Al-Haram Emergency Center (3) is located in the Saudi Corridor, formerly Bab Al-Safa (next to the funeral prayer hall), and Al-Haram Emergency Center No. (4) is located in the Saudi Corridor, first floor, next to the Ajyad Bridge.
As part of its complementary role, in cooperation with the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Assembly began providing primary, health and awareness care to the guests of God, in order to contribute to providing high-quality health services to those visiting the Holy House of God.
The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques also integrates with the Ministry of Health in providing various awareness initiatives in order to preserve the health and safety of the pilgrims.
