Haram presidency establishes special chapels for people with disabilities

General Presidency for Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque Affairs (Haram), has established a special chapel for circumambulation Sunna for pilgrims with disabilities in cooperation with the Tafweej Agency and Crowd Management.

Director of the General Administration of Persons with Disabilities Affairs, Ahmed Al-Barakati, stated that spaces have been allocated for people with hearing disabilities in King Fahd Extension, accommodating more than (25) people.

Names of Chapels allocated for Persons with Disabilities

The Chapels designated for them are (the two rak’ahs chapels, the Ajyad chapel on the first floor, the 64th chapel in King Fahd Extension).

Al-Barakati indicated that the presidency was keen to provide their paths and facilitate all services that ensure protection and prevention.

It seeks to achieve physical distancing following the precautionary measures that it follows.
