By : Marwa Mahmoud

The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Muhammad Salih Banten, revealed in a program of a direct meeting via “Al-Arabiya” that the selection of pilgrims this year was made electronically, without any human intervention.

In cooperation with the Civil Aviation Authority at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah received several batches of pilgrims this year.

This comes after the relevant authorities have completed all the equipment prepared to serve the pilgrims this year.

All health procedures are applied through a comprehensive implementation plan from all security, health and service agencies, which emanates from the keenness of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques government to provide everything that would provide the service for pilgrims.

It is mentioned that the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah prepared an integrated hotel to receive the pilgrims and settle them in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, starting from the fourth of Du al-Hijjah, before they went to Mina.

In Mina a room was allocated for each pilgrim with its complete equipment, in which they placed sterile Zamzam water cans, snacks and a bowl of fruit and sweets, in addition to menus that provide the main meals for the pilgrims.
