The Hyatt Group of Hotels (listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol H) announced the opening of the Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is the brand’s first hotel in the Kingdom.
The luxurious hotel, consisting of 368 hotel units, including 54 hotel apartments, is located in the heart of Al Khobar. It is considered as the center of business and trade in the Kingdom. The hotel is linked by a bridge that extends to Al Rashid Mall. Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residence is the sixth hotel to carry the Hyatt brand in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is the fifth Grand Hyatt hotel in the Middle East, making this opening an important step in the Hyatt Group’s expansion strategy in the region. This accommodation is bold and vibrant. The hotel will be opened in phases, starting with 120 rooms and suites, in addition to 20 hotel apartments. The first phase includes the opening of hospitality services throughout the day, a lobby lounge, ballrooms, a fitness center, and a health club. The remaining guest rooms, along with the Rosalie and Sakana House restaurants, are expected to open in the second phase in February 2021. The third and final phase will see the remaining hotel apartments open in March 2021.
