General Presidency of Haramain provides copies of the Holy Qur’an in a variety of languages

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, represented by the Women’s Qur’an Department, provided easy interpretations and translations of the meanings of the words of the Holy Qur’an in several languages for non-Arabic-speaking women, to serve them inside the women’s chapels in the Grand Mosque during the blessed month of Ramadan.

 

Maryam Bint Naqa Al-Salami, Director of the Women’s Qur’an Department, explained that easy interpretations and translations of the meanings of the words of the Holy Qur’an were provided in several languages, the most important of which are English, Urdu, and Indonesian, to facilitate non-Arabic speakers.

The Director of the Qur’an Affairs Department at the Grand Mosque, Saad Bin Ghuwailib Al-Nadawi, explained that the administration provides a number of Holy Qur’an copies, Qur’an copies printed in Braille for the blind, and translations of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an in several languages, including English, Urdu, and Indonesian, along with Altafisr Almuyasr (Simple Interpretation).

 

They are distributed in all locations and corridors of the Grand Mosque every week, especially during the Friday prayers.

Al-Nadawi stated that providing the Holy Qur’an and translating the meanings of the Holy Qur’an and the Braille Qur’an is continuous.

 

In such a way, the Grand Mosque visitors spend their time in a fruitful way, and the Two Holy Mosques’ mission is achieved in support of the General Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs 2024 plan in terms of exerting more efforts in providing professional services to the Grand Mosque visitors. — SPA
