For the first time since May, Saudi inflation eases to 3% in October

The annual inflation rate in Saudi Arabia slowed for the first time since last May, to 3 percent, during October 2022, according to official government data, this was compared to the 3.1 percent it recorded in September of the same year.

The data of the General Authority for Statistics in Saudi Arabia showed that the consumer price index for October 2022 recorded a slight increase of 0.2 percent, compared to the previous month (September 2022), as the monthly inflation index was affected by the rise in housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels and foods by 0.9 percent, which in turn was affected by an increase in rent prices paid for housing by 1.1 percent.
