Farhan Meets with Cameron in Munich
Today, Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister met with David Cameron, the UK Foreign Secretary, on the sidelines of the 2024 Munich Security Conference.
Notably, Abdullah bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Federal Republic of Germany attended this meeting.
Moreover, the Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohammed Al-Yahya, and the Assistant Director-General, Mr. Walid Al-Ismail also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Farhan and Cameron reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them. They discussed the latest developments in Gaza and its surroundings, and the international efforts being made regarding them.
Farhan, Cameron Meeting in Davos
It is important to remember that Farhan and Cameron had met before, back when the Gaza War initially broke out. Last month, Farhan discussed Gaza’s situation with Cameron on the fringes of the World Economic Forum’s 2024 Annual Meeting in Davos.
They discussed evolving regional trends impacting global peace and security, reaffirming their commitment to regional stability. Notably, the gathering creates fresh opportunities for mutual success and further establishes a positive tone for future partnerships.
Farhan’s Visit to London
Farhan also met David Cameron during his December visit to London where they discussed events in Gaza and surrounding areas.
They also discussed the necessity of implementing measures for a ceasefire and preventing the spread of violence.
Farhan stressed the importance of the international community, especially the UN Security Council‘s permanent members, intensifying efforts for a ceasefire.
Moreover, he pointed out the importance of setting up safe corridors for the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
He affirmed the need for a fair and comprehensive peace path to uphold the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
