The President of the Islamic Council in Addis Ababa, Sheikh Sultan Aman, has commended Saudi Arabia’s pioneering role in serving Islam and Muslims around the world, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Sheikh Sultan has lauded the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance’s continuous efforts in organizing intensive scientific courses to empower qualified imams and preachers in Ethiopia and develop their skills.
Aman highlighted that the Kingdom has many blessings and significant contributions to Ethiopia‘s religious community.
He clarified that several scholars and preachers have graduated from the Kingdom’s universities, noting Saudi Arabia’s generous attitudes on many occasions, such as distributing dates in Ethiopia during the holy month of Ramadan.
