Riyadh Season 2024 has welcomed two new zones that offer a unique blend of heritage and entertainment: Dunes of Arabia and Souq Al-Awaleen, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Inaugurated on Sunday, December 15, 2024, Souq Al-Awaleen returned to Riyadh Season in a rejuvenated version, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s authentic heritage. The free-entry zone features folklore shows, music performances, and handicraft exhibitions that introduce the Kingdom’s traditional crafts, such as textiles and pottery.
Moreover, Souq Al-Awaleen includes interactive platforms that host activities such as Al Sadu weaving and a cooking experience. It also features the Deerah experience, which serves some of Saudi Arabia’s most delicious traditional dishes.
The zone has gained popularity and has become a perfect destination for families and a platform for supporting artisans, owing to its activities that draw inspiration from the Kingdom’s rich heritage.
Meanwhile, Riyadh Season’s other new zone, Dunes of Arabia, located in Al-Touqi area, north of Riyadh, takes visitors in a fascinating journey through the magical deserts of Saudi Arabia.
