Dubai Airshow: Airbus Helicopters, Saudi Aerospace Engineering Sign MoU

On the sidelines of Dubai Airshow, Airbus Helicopters and Saudi Aerospace Engineering signed a memorandum of understanding. They plan to establish an authorized service center in Saudi Arabia for regional civil helicopter support.

Enhancing Regional Helicopter Services

Olivier Michalon, Airbus Helicopters’  Executive Vice President (EVP) of Global Business, said that this MoU which was signed during Dubai Airshow emphasizes their commitment to customer satisfaction in the Middle East and globally.

Saudi Aerospace Engineering’s Vision 2030 Alignment

Furthermore, Fahd Cynndy, CEO of Saudi Aerospace Engineering, highlighted the agreement’s alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. It aims to expand capabilities and set new standards in maintenance, repair, and overhaul sectors.

Strengthening Maintenance Services

This strategic agreement marks a significant step for Saudi Aerospace Engineering in their commitment to top-tier vertical aircraft maintenance services. It reinforces their leadership in maintenance and overhaul sectors.

Airbus Helicopters’ Expanded Middle East Presence

Airbus Helicopters is enhancing its Middle East presence, offering fleet upgrades, maintenance, repair, and support services through “Airbus Helicopters Arabia”.

Benefits of the Authorized Service Center

The Airbus-certified service center will improve response times, facilitate maintenance operations, and significantly reduce downtime for operators across the region.

A Vision 2030 Achievement

This collaboration is a major achievement for both Saudi Aerospace Engineering and Airbus Helicopters. It also aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, showcasing Saudi Arabia’s capabilities in the global aviation sector.
