A delegation from the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission (CST), led by Deputy Governor for the Regulation and Competition Sector, Eng. Omar AlRejraje, took part in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. Organized by the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA), the event was held in Barcelona, Spain, from March 3 to 6.
CST’s participation underscored its commitment to driving Saudi Arabia’s digital economy, fostering knowledge exchange, and exploring emerging technologies. The event also provided a platform for high-level discussions with global industry leaders, strengthening collaboration in the communications and technology sector.
As part of MWC’s ministerial program, CST’s Strategy and Sustainability General Manager, Eng. Abdulaziz Altamrah, contributed to a roundtable discussion on “Advancing Digital Inclusion Towards a Connected Future.”
In a strategic effort to promote Saudi innovations on a global stage, CST partnered with the Saudi Export Development Authority to support Saudi companies in international pavilions at MWC. Moreover, this initiative aimed to showcase the Kingdom’s competitiveness and unlock new opportunities for global market expansion.
