“Communications Commission” to hold Int’l workshop on IoT
The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), which organizes the Internet of Things (IoT) in the Kingdom, will hold an international workshop next Wednesday the 24th of February 2021, entitled “Internet of things … enhancing the economy and serving societies” in cooperation with the International Telecommunication Union, in the presence of a number of academics and specialists in IoT technologies.
The workshop, which will be held virtually, will be opened by the Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, Dr. Muhammad bin Saud Al-Tamimi.
The authority called on all those interested to attend the virtual workshop via the link: https://www.citc.gov.sa/event, which will discuss a number of axes, including: the IoT in the Kingdom and its role in achieving the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision; and the mechanisms of utilizing the IoT to empower societies; digital biometric and achieving sustainable development, as well as highlighting the impact of the IoT on digital transformation.
