City Hub: GEA’s New Entertainment Project Kicks Off in 7 Saudi Cities

The Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA) has launched the City Hub, a new entertainment project that will travel across 7 Saudi cities during 2025, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

On Sunday, GEA Chairman, Turki Al Al-Sheikh, announced that the City Hub project will stay in each city for 14 days, aiming to enhance the quality of life for citizens and residents through distributing entertainment activities across Saudi Arabia’s regions.

Jazan will be the project’s first stop, on January 23, 2025. Next, the City Hub will move to Al-Khobar, Buraidah, Hail, Al-Baha, and Taif. The final stop will be at Tabuk, in August.

The City Hub project spans an area exceeding 20,000 square meters in each city. It features a diverse range of entertainment activities which cater to the needs of all age groups. These include the “Play and Learn” festival, an educational and entertainment experience for children to explore various jobs in an innovative and interactive way.

Moreover, the City Hub includes a zone for electronic games, hosting championships for popular games, such as TEKKEN 8 and EAFC24, with lucrative prizes.

It also includes the Horror Zone, the Circus Tent, the Adventure Zone, and the Birds Zone, adding more excitement and fun to this unique and thrilling experience.

Furthermore, the City Hub features a diverse market and a collection of local and international restaurants for a comprehensive experience that combines entertainment with fine dining.

The City Hub project underscores the GEA’s commitment to supporting local content. It also contributes to creating thousands of job opportunities and supporting investments in emerging areas. Thus, it enriches the entertainment landscape in Saudi Arabia and promotes efforts to achieve the objectives of Vision 2030.
