Citizen’s Account Reveals February 2021 Allocations
The Citizen Account Program, which is designed to support Saudi citizens, revealed the start of the February 2021 allocations.
Through its official account on “Twitter”, the program indicated that the support allocated to batch 39 of the beneficiaries who completed their requests had been deposited into the citizen’s account.
The program had revealed that 1.9 billion riyals had been deposited in the January 2021 payment, “the 38th installment of the program,” for about 10.7 million beneficiaries, and who continue to be supported in the program.
The total amount of support for the Citizen Account Program reached 88 billion riyals, since the program was launched in 2017, and until the end of the 38th batch of the program.
The Citizen Account program aims to mitigate the direct and indirect effects of economic reforms, which include correcting electricity and gasoline prices, implementing a value-added tax, and other reforms.
