British Journalist Says Gaza Opens World’s Eyes about Evil of Rulers, Media Outlets
In a video that went viral on social media platforms, a British journalist has sent a strong message for the Palestinian people of Gaza.
“You suffered one of the great crimes of history. Genocide is described as the crime of crimes for a reason,” he said.
Unthinkable Destruction
The journalist noted that Israel has destroyed people and their homes, hospitals, and schools in Gaza thanks to weapons and support provided by Western governments.
He further accused Israel of murdering doctors, nurses, aid workers, and Journalists.
“They ‘Israeli forces’ have exterminated entire extended families wiped forever from the civil registry. They have murdered tens of thousands of your children,” while they were sleeping in the beds or shelters or playing in the street.
He also accused Israeli military of using Gazans as target practice, noting that Israel has deliberately starved people in the Palestinian enclave and deprived them from the basic needs to survive.
Resilient Humanity
During the two-year war that started in October 2023, Israel has displaced the Palestinians and left them “traumatized.”
He said that people of Gaza are waking up wondering if this will be the last day of their lives. They have lost their parents, siblings, grandparents and friends.

The atrocities “you have suffered are beyond our imagination. Your tormentor has failed to extinguish you. You have shown that existence is resistance. Your spirit and determination have inspired many people all over the world,” he added.
Shared Responsibility
He hoped that one day, Gaza will not just free Palestine, it will free us all because it has “opened people’s eyes all over the world about the evil that our rulers and our media outlets are capable of.”
The journalist concluded the video by underscoring that it is the responsibility of citizens of countries that have inflicted such horror and suffering on Gazans to keep building pressure on their governments to stop facilitating the crimes being committed against them.
“Our promise must be that we will never ever give up on you,” he said.
