The Riyadh International Book Fair is set to make its highly anticipated return this Thursday, September 26, at King Saud University. Organized by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission, the event will run until October 5, offering book lovers an array of activities, books, and cultural experiences.

This year’s edition will feature over 2,000 publishing houses and agencies from 30 countries, making it one of the largest cultural events in the region. These exhibitors will showcase their work in 800 pavilions, highlighting the global reach and significance of the fair.

Qatar: Guest of Honor

Qatar will be the guest of honor at the 2024 edition, celebrating its prominent cultural role in the Arab world. Visitors will have the chance to explore Qatar’s rich cultural heritage through exhibitions on literature, art, and its achievements in the cultural sphere. Renowned Qatari cultural figures will also be present for discussions and interactions.

An Exciting Cultural Program

The fair will offer more than 200 activities, including seminars, discussions, poetry evenings, lectures, and workshops. A special focus will be given to the Year of the Camel with symposiums dedicated to this cultural symbol.
