Blinken: US to Coordinate with KSA to Establish Palestinian State

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Thursday that the United States will continue to closely coordinate with Saudi Arabia to move forward towards the establishment of a Palestinian state while providing security guarantees for Israel, reported Al Arabiya.
Saudi minister of Foreign Affairs Faisal bin Farhan received a call from his US Counterpart Anthony Blinken. During the call, they discussed KSA-US Relationship and other topics related to Gaza Strip.
The U.S. State Department revealed in a statement that both sides discussed efforts aimed at ending the crisis in Gaza to achieve lasting peace and security for both Israelis and Palestinians. This will lead to the establishment of a Palestinian state with security guarantees for Israel.
The statement added that the Saudi and U.S. ministers pledged to continue close coordination to increase humanitarian aid for civilians in Gaza.
Earlier on Thursday, the Saudi Press Agency reported that the ministers discussed in a phone call the efforts made to deal with the security and humanitarian repercussions of the crisis in Gaza.
They also discussed region developments, most notably the developments in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings.

Consultative Ministerial Meeting
Saudi Arabia hosted a consultative ministerial meeting in Riyadh Thursday to discuss the developments of the Israeli war on Gaza.
The ministers stressed the necessity to end the war on the Gaza Strip and achieve an immediate and complete ceasefire, as reported by Al Arabiya.
Moreover, they affirmed the importance of protecting civilians in accordance with international humanitarian law.
They expressed their support for UNRWA, urging all its supporters to exert all humanitarian efforts to help the Palestinian refugees.
