AROYA Cruises Relaunches Red Sea Operations with New Seasonal Voyages

AROYA Cruises will resume its Red Sea voyages from Jeddah starting in May, in a remarkable step that seeks mainly to reinforce the city’s position as one of Saudi Arabia’s pioneering gateways for marine tourism, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The company unveiled that its flagship vessel, AROYA, is currently en route to its home port in Jeddah ahead of the official launch of its new sailing program on May 14.

Interestingly, the schedule will feature a range of itineraries spanning three to five nights and covering key regional destinations including Yanbu, Sharm El-Sheikh, and Aqaba, providing passengers with a diverse Red Sea cruising experience.

The program also boasts a special five-night voyage set to coincide with the Eid al-Adha holiday, including stops in Sharm El-Sheikh and Aqaba to offer a comprehensive, multi-destination tourism experience tailored to a vast array of guest interests.

With a special focus on boosting travel flexibility, AROYA Cruises has designed its itineraries to cater in particular to travelers seeking short breaks, while capitalizing on the strategic location and ease of departure offered by Jeddah as a key gateway.

At the same time, the company is preparing to launch its second Mediterranean season from June through mid-September 2026, featuring seven-night voyages departing from its homeport at Galataport in Istanbul.

The curated itineraries will include key hubs across Turkey, the Greek islands, as well as Alexandria.

Sture Myrmell, President of AROYA Cruises, underscored that increasing demand for voyages blending flexibility with immersive cultural experiences stands as a living proof of the ongoing evolution in traveler preferences.
