Arab Coalition destroys missile launcher in Al-Jawf
The Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen attacked a military station in Al-Jawf Governorate that was used by the militia to launch booby-trapped marches, with the launchpad, drones, support trucks, and operators all being targeted.
This comes after Saudi defenses intercepted and destroyed two booby-trapped drones fired into the kingdom by the Houthis on Saturday, as well as a ballistic missile fired at Najran by the Houthi militia.
Two missiles fired by the Houthi militia fell on residential areas in Hajjah Governorate, Saturday, according to sources in Yemen. The missiles had traveled 64 kilometers before hitting notables and civilian regions within Yemen.
“The hostile Houthi escalation by purposefully attacking civilian objects,” the alliance said.
Saudi defenses intercepted and destroyed a booby-trapped drone fired by the Houthis towards Abha on Friday.
Before that, Saudi defenses shot down a fifth Houthi-launched booby-trapped drone in Khamis Mushait before dawn on Friday.
On Thursday evening, Saudi soldiers stopped the Houthis’ fourth booby-trapped march on the Kingdom. The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen stated on Thursday that the Saudi military had successfully intercepted four drones and a ballistic missile.
