Apple’s Face Shields to Face COVID-19
The number-one company in the US stock market, Apple Inc, is contributing to the world in this crisis in its way. Coronavirus pandemic is affecting the lives of thousands of people, and the only way to prevent this disease from spreading more is by social distancing, hand washing regularly, and face-covering by wearing masks.
Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, has declared that his company is designing face shields. It is a new invention that mainly designed for health professionals and caregivers. So, the first patch of distribution will be for the workers in the medical field.
Apple is collaborating with governments and medical professionals to appoint the most needed places for the face shields. The aim is to cover the top urgent priority places, and then the rest. So, it is expected to reach the Middle East in the mid of May 2020.
