Albanian PM Announces Exemption of Saudis from Entry Visa
The Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama announced the exemption of Saudis from the entry visa starting from next week, reported Al Arabiya KSA on X. Rama made this announcement during his meeting with a delegation from the Saudi business sector.
Visa-Free Destinations for Saudis
Besides Albania, a number of other countries also announced the exemption of Saudis from entry visa. Dmitry Volvash, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia, recently revealed that Russia is about to implement visa exemptions, including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Malaysia and Myanmar.
This initiative is the cornerstone of Russia’s broader strategy to facilitate travel and strengthen international relations.
Moreover, the Government of Gambia has officially announced a visa-free entry policy for Saudi Arabian nationals. Accordingly, this policy for Saudi nationals is a testament to the strengthening diplomatic relations between Gambia and KSA. By facilitating easier access for Saudis, Gambia aims to encourage more cultural and tourism exchanges.
Turkey has recently made a significant move in its tourism efforts by announcing a visa exemption for Saudi tourists. This policy is aimed at fostering stronger ties between Turkey and Saudi.
The exemption allows Saudi citizens to visit Turkey without the need for a pre-arranged visa, simplifying travel procedures and encouraging more visitors from the Gulf nation.
Saudi Investments in Albania
Yesterday, Birn Begai, President of the Republic of Albania, invited Saudi investors to invest in his country and to fully leverage the stimulating investment opportunities and laws, reported Al Arabiya. He promised to personally safeguard and guarantee Saudi investments in Albania.
The president stated this during his meeting with a delegation from the Saudi Chambers of Commerce led by Hassan Al-Huwaizi, the head of the union, along with a number of investors and representatives from various governmental and private entities, in the capital, Tirana, yesterday.
He also highlighted his country’s ambitions to join the European Union, its status in several international organizations, and its capability to accommodate business activities and investments.
