Al-Haramain Train to run 50 trips per day in Ramadan to transport 625,000 passengers

During the holy month of Ramadan, the Al-Haramain railway makes 50 journeys every day, transporting around 625,000 people.

The flights would run from Makkah Al-Mukarramah to Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, through Jeddah Central Stations and King Abdullah Economic City, according to an official source.

Flights from King Abdulaziz Airport to Makkah Al Mukarramah and Madinah Al Munawwarah will also be available, both via King Abdullah Economic City Station.

According to the official, demand for Al-Haramain train excursions has surged by more than 35 percent in recent months.

In the event that demand grows, he mentioned the option of raising the number of trips or doubling the number of trains.
