A high-level Saudi delegation visits Oman
A Saudi team is visiting the Sultanate of Oman today, Sunday, to strengthen the two countries economic ties and mutual investments.
The delegation is headed by the Minister of Investment, Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih. Several officials in government agencies will participate with him.
The delegation also includes a large number of leaders in the private sector, pioneering companies, and senior Saudi businessmen.
Khalid Al-Falih expressed his great happiness at visiting the Sultanate of Oman, pointing out that “the visit comes within the framework of keenness King Salman to deepen the bonds of brotherly relations between the two countries.
More investments
The Saudi Minister of Investment indicated that “the Kingdom, through Vision 2030, and the Sultanate of Oman through Vision 2040, paves the way for integration in some economic sectors in the two countries.
They will provide quality investment opportunities for investors and local and international companies.”
He explained that “the economic and legislative reforms witnessed by the Kingdom and the Sultanate have enhanced the provision of an attractive business environment in both countries, as well as their ability to compete among the countries of the world.”
During the visit, the Minister of Investment will hold a series of meetings with some Omani officials in the public and private sectors, in addition to holding the Omani-Saudi Investment Forum.
It is noted that the volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman amounted to 10 billion Saudi riyals in 2020, according to “Sabq” newspaper.
