Ministry of Interior Partners with HUMAIN to Advance AI Localization

Assistant Minister of Interior for Technology Affairs, Prince Dr. Bandar bin Abdullah bin Mishari, affirmed that the strategic agreement signed between the Ministry of Interior and HUMAIN aligns with the ministry’s commitment to adopting advanced technologies and localizing artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. HUMAIN is a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company specializing in delivering full-stack AI capabilities at a global level.

Prince Bandar explained that the agreement, signed during the opening ceremony of the Absher Conference 2025—held under the patronage of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz—represents a key pillar of the ministry’s efforts to develop high-performance computing infrastructure. This initiative supports the modernization of the technological environment and enhances the efficiency of both operational and administrative functions.

He added that the agreement aims to strengthen the ministry’s digital capabilities across internal operations by adopting advanced local technologies in large language models, high-performance computing, and intelligent solutions. These efforts will enhance operational efficiency, improve service quality, support data analysis, and enable informed decision-making.

HUMAIN

HUMAIN CEO Tareq Amin stated that the strategic agreement reflects the company’s focus on developing secure, high-performance AI solutions. This also includes leveraging advanced Arabic language models and intelligent analytics tools to meet the operational needs of government entities.

He further noted that the agreement will support future initiatives aligned with national AI adoption strategies, as well as approved technical and governance standards.

In this context, the Ministry of Interior also announced the launch of the Artificial Intelligence Channel (HUMAIN Chat) via the Absher–Interior Platform. Additionally, the new channel enables ministry personnel to access advanced AI tools that support rapid information retrieval, administrative and knowledge-based tasks, and institutional operations. It also enhances performance efficiency, increases productivity, improves output quality, and provides interactive analytical capabilities that facilitate daily work.
