Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan arrived in Doha on Saturday to participate in the preparatory meeting of foreign ministers for an emergency joint Arab-Islamic summit, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The emergency summit will address Israel’s blatant attack in the Qatari capital on September 9 against Hamas leadership.
Qatar, which has hosted several rounds of ceasefire talks, described the attack as an act of “state terror,” noting that Benjamin Netanyahu has “killed any hope” of a deal to release all the Israeli hostages in Gaza.
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also condemned the attack and labeled it as an “aggressive act.”
The ministry also emphasized the Kingdom’s solidarity with Doha and affirmed the necessity for the international community to hold Israel accountable for its actions.
