Saudi Arabia and the UK have explored ways to further strengthen their defense cooperation during an official visit by the Saudi Defense Minister, Prince Khalid bin Salman, to London.
On Tuesday, Prince Khalid met with his British counterpart, John Healey, at the British Defense Ministry in London, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Both ministers held an expanded meeting during which they reviewed the historical relations between Saudi Arabia and the UK. They also explored ways to bolster their strategic cooperation in the military and defense sectors.
Furthermore, the Saudi and British Defense Ministers discussed the latest regional and international developments, as well as topics of common interest, and efforts made in that regard.
The meeting saw the attendance of several high-ranking officials from both countries.

On its part, the British Defense Ministry said that the meeting explored opportunities for closer defense cooperation, describing Saudi Arabia as a “vital partner for the UK in ensuring security and stability in the Gulf region.”
On Wednesday, Prince Khalid met with the UK National Security Adviser, Jonathan Powell. Their meeting focused on reviewing the strategic partnership between the two countries and exploring ways to foster it, the Saudi Defense Minister wrote on X.
The two officials also discussed the latest developments on the regional and international stages and efforts made to promote security and stability.
