The second group of the Guests of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visit toured several Islamic sites on Saturday, December 21, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The pilgrims visited the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran and learned more about the stages of Quran printing and modern printing technologies.
Furthermore, the Saudi officials provided them with glimpses into the efforts made to preserve and protect the Noble Quran.
Recognized as the largest facility specializing in precise Quran printing and verification, the complex enriched their visit with background about the process of translating the Qur’an into several language and the final review and proofreading stages.
Before their departure, the officials gave the pilgrims various copies of the Holy Quran as presents,
Moreover, the visitors also toured Mount Al-Rumaat, and Quba Mosque, as part of the cultural programs organized by the Ministry for the guests during their stay in Medina.
During the tour, pilgrims had an opportunity to listen to a detailed explanation of the Battle of Uhud in the third year of the Hijra and visit its location.
Two days ago, Madinah welcomed the second group of 250 Umrah performers, under the Guests of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visit.
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, the program is currently offering seamless services Umrah pilgrims coming from 14 European countries.
Upon their arrival, the Ministry facilitated the entry of the visitors and provided them with smooth procedures.
