Saudi Arabia Expects 15M Visitors to Al Rawdah Al Sharifah in 2024

The Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, announced expectations of 15 million visitors to Al Rawdah Al Sharifah this year. Al-Rabiah told Al Ekhbariya that these expectations come in light of “Nusk’s” contribution to a shift in improving the services provided to pilgrims, which has also recently provided many large and diverse services.

The “Nusuk” app has revolutionized services for pilgrims, enabling seamless appointment booking and raising daily visitors to 48,000. The app represents Saudi Arabia’s first official platform for organizing pilgrimage journeys worldwide.

Enhanced Coordination Among Government Agencies

The Minister of Hajj and Umrah explained that the Hajj Projects Management Office coordinates between about 50 government agencies to prepare and plan for Hajj. He continued, “The qualitative leap that the Kingdom is witnessing has contributed to raising the level of satisfaction of the Guests of the Rahman.”

Recent enhancements reduced entry waiting times to just one hour and launched awareness campaigns in 11 different languages. These measures aim to provide an inclusive and efficient pilgrimage experience.

Exceptional Services Mark 1445H Hajj Season

During the 1445H Hajj season, over one million pilgrims benefited from location guidance services. Additionally, 12,516 cubic meters of Zamzam water were distributed at the Grand Mosque.

Saudi Arabia remains committed to improving services for pilgrims to facilitate their rituals and enhance their satisfaction. Pilgrims can download the “Nusuk” app from various app stores to access these services.
