The National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) is currently participating in the international Transport Logistics Exhibition held in Shanghai, China, from June 25 to 27, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Themed “Invest in Saudi Arabia under NIDLP’s Organization and Follow up”, the Saudi pavilion crystalizes the efforts of 13 entities concerned with transport and logistics services in the Kingdom.
Also, the pavilion stands as a testament to Saudi Arabia’s continues pursuit to sign strategic partnerships with worldwide prestigious institutions and foster cooperation in logistic services.

NIDLP has been keen on elevating the efficiency of logistic services, developing the sustainable infrastructure, capturing more investment opportunities to diversify the Saudi economy.
Furthermore, the program’s participation in the exhibition highlights the unprecedented development of Saudi Arabia’s logistics infrastructure in the maritime, air, land, and rail sectors.
Additionally, it mirrors the Kingdom’s dedication to fully make use of its strategic location that links three continents and develop the legislative regulation to get rid of any obstacles that might hinder the investment.

Besides, the first day of the fair marked the signing of the largest single global contract between Saudi Global Ports Company (Mawani) and the Chinese company SANY.
In addition, the deal primarily aims at bolstering King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam with 80 eco-friendly electric trucks.
The event reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to becoming a thriving global logistics hub in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.
