The Kingdom will host the 44th session of the Executive Council of the Islamic Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).
In addition, the event will take place in Jeddah from January 16 to 18, with the participation of 54 member countries of the organization.

Conversely, the Kingdom’s hosting of the Executive Council’s session reflects the generous support from King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince, thereby aligning with their leading role to supporting science initiatives. The session will be directed by Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the Minister of Culture.
Agenda of 44th Session
Furthermore, the 44th session of the ISESCO Executive Council, spanning three days, will deliberate on the organization’s plans and activities. It will assess achievements and conclude with a final report outlining future directions in terms of plans and budgets.
Additionally, the outcomes of the Executive Council will be endorsed during the General Conference of the organization, serving as its primary legislative authority.
ISESCO Overview
Established in 1982, ISESCO is an offshoot of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and has its headquarters in Morocco. The organization develops education, scientific research, social sciences, and cultural communication, thereby contributing to a general strategy for sustainable growth across all sectors in Islamic countries.
