Diriyah Announces Launch of Bab Samhan Hotel
Diriyah has announced the launching of Bab Samhan Hotel and the foundation for four luxury hotels. This marks a new chapter in Diriyah’s hospitality, reported Arabian Business.
Hospitality Meets Heritage
Bab Samhan Hotel, one of over 41 planned hotels, will start welcoming guests next year. It’s a short walk from the UNESCO-listed At-Turaif district. Opposite to the hotel lies the Diriyah Art Gallery.
Luxurious Accommodations
The hotel boasts 106 rooms and 28 suites, including a royal suite. Room sizes range from 35 to 413 square meters. They feature meticulous design and a heritage-inspired main lounge. The hotel also includes meeting rooms, a spa with an indoor pool, a gym, and diverse dining options. One of the restaurants is managed by renowned chef Michael Mina.
Diriyah Opera House: A Design Masterpiece
Diriyah Company has chosen the Norwegian architectural firm Snøhetta to design the Royal Opera House. The design will blend authentic Najdi style with modern architectural arts. It aims to meet the highest global sustainability standards.
It also announced the launch of Diriyah Center for Future Arts, the first digital arts educational center in the Kingdom, was also announced.
Four New Luxury Hotels
The second day of “Bashair Diriyah 2023” saw the foundation laying for four new global luxury hotels. These include Ritz-Carlton, The Address, Capella, and Four Seasons.
CEO’s Vision
Jerry Inzerillo, CEO of Diriyah Company, said that Bashair Diriyah is their annual time at which they announce new tourism, cultural, and hotel projects. He emphasized the progress towards the project’s master plan, showcasing achievements and future aspirations.
