Special Commemorative Stamp for FIFA Club World Cup 2023

The Directorate General of Passports, under the Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports, introduced a unique stamp named “FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP.”

This initiative aligns with the commencement of the FIFA Club World Cup 2023,  that started on December 12 and will end on Dec 22, 2023, in Jeddah​​​​.

This  special stamp by Saudi Passports at King Abdulaziz Airport marks a significant event for the FIFA Club World Cup 2023, according to Saudi Press Agency.

Significance of Stamp

The stamp will be available to travelers entering Saudi Arabia through King Abdulaziz International Airport during the tournament period. This symbolizes the nation’s commitment to promoting and celebrating major sporting events.

Hosting the FIFA Club World Cup 2023

Saudi Arabia was chosen to host the FIFA Club World Cup 2023, a testament to its growing prominence in the global sports arena. This selection reflects the country’s ability to host significant international and local sports events.

It’s noteworthy that this is the first time Saudi Arabia is hosting the Club World Cup​​.

Teams, Matches

The 2023 Club World Cup, featuring teams from six continents, showcases global football talent. Teams include Al-Ittihad (Saudi Arabia), Manchester City, Urawa Red Diamonds, Al Ahly, Club León, Fluminense, and Auckland City. Furthermore, on December 15, a key match between León and Urawa Red Diamonds will take place, followed by Al Ahly’s clash with Al-Ittihad.

Consequently, these matches are pivotal in deciding the semi-finalists.

Additionally, Saudi Arabia’s new stamp for the FIFA signifies its strong commitment to sports.

Moreover, this initiative aims to enhance the country’s sports reputation and provide unique experiences for both visitors and football fans​​​​.
