Kingdom’s Weather for Monday

The National Center for Meteorology in its report on today’s weather forecast, by God’s will, expects the continuation of moderate to heavy thunderstorms.

These weather-related phenomena are anticipated to cause flash floods, accompanied by strong winds and hail showers in parts of the Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Mecca, Medina, Qassim, Riyadh, and Eastern regions.

Temperature Drop, Dust Storms

There will be a noticeable drop in temperatures. It will accompanied by strong winds that can stir dust and sand, potentially leading to near-zero visibility in parts of the Northern Border, Al-Jouf, Hail, and Tabuk regions.

Red Sea Wind Movements

The weather report also mentions that the surface wind movement on the Red Sea will be north to northwesterly at speeds of 20-50 km/h in the northern part.

Northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of 15-40 km/h in the central part, and southeasterly to southwesterly at speeds of 20-45 km/h .

Wind speeds may reach up to 60 km/h with the formation of rainy thunder clouds in the central .

Wave heights are expected to range from 1.5 to 2.5 meters in the northern and central parts, and from 1 to 2 meters in the central part, rising to more than 2.5 meters.

The sea condition will be from moderate to rough waves in this weather.”

As for the weather in the Arabian Gulf, the weather’s surface wind movement will be southeasterly to southwesterly at speeds of 20-55 km/h in the northern part.

Easterly to southeasterly at speeds of 15-35 km/h in the southern part. Wind speeds can exceed 60 km/h with the formation of rainy thunder clouds, affecting the weather significantly.

Wave heights in these weather conditions will range from 1.5 to 2.5 meters in the northern part, and from 1 to 1.5 meters in the southern part, reaching more than 2.5 meters with the formation of rainy thunder clouds.

The sea state will reflect moderate wave conditions due to the prevailing weather.
