Saudi Foreign Min. Calls for Immediate Ceasefire in Gaza, amid China Talks

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, has been actively urging the international community, including key players like China, to push for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Prince Faisal emphasized, in a high-level meeting  with China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi, the need for concerted international efforts to stop Israel’s violations in Gaza.  Representatives from various Arab and Islamic countries attended the meeting.

He also stressed the importance of an immediate ceasefire and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the region. This meeting was part of a tour to the permanent member states of the United Nations’ Security Council, underlining the global scope of the issue​​.
