Initially, key legislations such as the Copyright Law, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Trademark Law, and the Anti-commercial Fraud Law were enacted.
Additionally, laws related to trade names, commercial data, patents, and designs have been developed.

SAIP: Central Authority for IP

SAIP’s mission encompasses promoting local innovation, improving economic competitiveness, and developing and implementing a national IP strategy.
Building an IP Culture
Initiatives include IP Clinics for small and medium-sized enterprises and various IP education programs.
Consequently, these efforts aim to create broad understanding and effective use of the IP system, while also fighting IP infringements and misuse.
