“The Comeback”: Joshua Set for Heavyweight Clash with Prenga in Riyadh

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Turki Alalshikh, has announced the return of British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua to the ring in a bout titled “The Comeback,” according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Set to take place on Saturday, July 25 in Riyadh, the event represents an eagerly awaited return for Joshua, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s broad vision to host major international boxing fixtures.

This approach aligns with the Kingdom’s expanding global sports and entertainment agenda, outline by the Saudi Vision 2030.

To further extend its reach to international boxing audiences, the event will be broadcast live worldwide on DAZN.

The upcoming showdown will bring together Anthony Joshua against Albanian heavyweight Kristian Prenga in a highly anticipated clash.

Interestingly, Joshua enters the bout with an established professional record marked by world championship experience, while his opponent, Prenga, brings notable punching power to the ring.

The event stands as a testament to the Kingdom’s dedication to hosting major international boxing figures, further strengthening Riyadh’s position as a pioneering global hub for sports and world-class entertainment.
