KACST Launches Registration for Deep Tech Commercialization Bootcamp for Research Teams in Saudi Arabia

The King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), in collaboration with the Research, Development and Innovation Authority (RDIA), has announced the opening of registration for its Deep Tech Commercialization Bootcamp. The program targets research teams across Saudi Arabia that have developed prototypes or advanced technologies ready for testing and market entry. Registration is open until April 29, 2026.

Scheduled to take place at The Garage in Riyadh from May 3 to 5, 2026, the bootcamp aims to support researchers and innovators by providing a dynamic environment along with the tools and expertise needed to transform their innovations into investment-ready ventures. Participants will gain insights into overcoming commercialization challenges specific to deep technologies while aligning their innovations with national development priorities.

This initiative is part of KACST’s ongoing efforts to empower research teams and accelerate the journey from lab-based innovation to market-ready products with real economic value. It also supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by promoting economic diversification and encouraging the growth of deep tech enterprises.

KACST encourages eligible research teams to apply and enhance their skills in key areas such as market analysis, business model creation, and technology transfer and licensing strategies—helping to fast-track the development and scaling of deep tech startups.
