
King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) has earned the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2015 certification for its Quality Management System after successfully meeting global standards and requirements in project portfolio governance, project management methodology development, performance monitoring, and strategic initiative management.
In a statement released today, KACST emphasized that this achievement highlights the commitment of its Enterprise Project Management Office to adopting international best practices in project management. The certification reflects ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency, elevate quality standards, and advance institutional excellence in line with KACST’s development and transformation goals.

ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognized standard awarded to organizations that implement robust quality management systems, promoting improved performance, greater stakeholder satisfaction, and a culture of continuous improvement.
The statement further noted that the accreditation demonstrates the dedication of KACST’s National Laboratory and Innovation Oases to strengthening governance, embedding a culture of quality and excellence, and effectively executing its institutional strategy—reinforcing its leadership in science, technology, and innovation.
