Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman met on Friday with Ukraine‘s President Volodymyr Zelensky in Jeddah – their second meeting in a month.
Their meeting focused on reviewing aspects of relations between the Kingdom and Ukraine, as well as avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Furthermore, they discussed the latest regional and international developments, most notably the recent situation in the Middle East and the developments in Ukraine.

Zelensky, for his part, described his meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince as “very productive,” appreciating cooperation with the Kingdom. “There is a strategic security arrangement that we are actively developing across three key areas,” he posted on X.
He clarified that these three areas include the transfer of Ukrainian security expertise and capabilities in air defense in addition to energy cooperation and food security.
“We are working together to strengthen our peoples and our partners. We have set tasks for our teams, and I expect their prompt and full implementation,” the Ukrainian President wrote.
He added that they also exchanged assessments of the situation in the Middle East and the Gulf. “We hope for greater security, and we are helping to bring it closer,” he said.

The meeting saw the attendance of several senior Saudi officials, including Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman; Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan; and Minister of State, Cabinet Member, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban
The Ukrainian side were represented by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov; Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha; and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Andrii Hnatov.
