
Saudi Arabia has officially signed its participation contract for Specialized Expo 2027 Belgrade, marking a significant step forward as the Kingdom moves from planning into the implementation phase.
This agreement highlights Saudi Arabia’s strong commitment to the Expo and its theme, “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All.” It also reflects the Kingdom’s ambition to create an engaging, inclusive pavilion experience aligned with its national transformation goals under Saudi Vision 2030.

Speaking on the occasion, Rakan Tarabzoni, Deputy Minister for International Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Economy and Planning and Saudi Arabia’s Section Commissioner for the Expo, stated:
“Today’s signing marks an important transition from planning to execution. Saudi Arabia aims to deliver an experience that shows how play—through sport, music, and digital creativity—can unlock opportunities, strengthen connections, and inspire a shared future.”
Saudi Arabia’s participation will center on presenting play as a driver of opportunity, emphasizing how culture, sports, and creative industries can empower individuals and support vibrant communities. The Kingdom also plans to collaborate closely with Expo organizers and participating nations to create a dynamic pavilion and program that encourage cultural exchange and meaningful global engagement.

Finally, the Expo will be held in Belgrade, Serbia, welcoming participants and visitors from across the globe.
