The AlUla Manara team hosted a special Ramadan astronomy evening last night at the Old Town Amphitheatre in AlUla Governorate as part of the “Journey Through the Stars” series and the cultural programs held during Ramadan.
The event blended storytelling about astronomy with live moon observation under AlUla’s clear night skies. Astronomy expert Majed Al-Zahoufi participated in the evening, which brought together members of the community with a shared interest in space and stargazing.
Additional activities included a lantern-making workshop for children and a traditional henna corner inspired by astronomical themes. The interactive program was designed to engage families and young visitors through educational and recreational experiences suitable for the Ramadan season.
