Ithra Celebrates Founding Day 2026 with Vibrant Multi-Night Ramadan Program

The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, known as Ithra, is currently celebrating Saudi Arabia’s Founding Day with a dynamic multi-night cultural program from February 20–22, according to Arab News.

Ithra is inviting visitors to a vibrant, family-friendly Ramadan atmosphere, where tradition and celebration come together amid spiritual vibes.

The three-day experience features a rich tapestry of 30 programs, activities, and events that celebrate the Kingdom’s heritage and honor the achievements of its founders more than 300 years ago.

Visitors of all nationalities are welcome to enter the center free of charge.

Culinary Experiences

Throughout the center’s lively premises, visitors can enjoy a wide range of culinary experiences, from casual snacking to full dining.

The lineup of eateries—Nosh, Cantina, Tobby’s, Baking Up, Brunswick, Salil, Origo, Roboresso, Fast 2, and Pattis.

In addition to these experiences, visitors can enjoy a vibrant outdoor program including the souq, featuring local vendors selling traditional goods; the Henna: From Mothers to Daughters henna station; traditional sadu weaving sessions; and more.

To connect visitors to the Kingdom’s past, the nearby Energy Exhibit enriches Founding Day with interactive activations, such as Minted History, which explores Saudi Arabia’s old paper currency, the Najdi Majlis Experience, as well as Heritage of Our Ancestors.

Moreover, the Plaza will host three main events: Holy Qur’an: The Manuscripts, Katatib Journey, and the Takhleed mini art exhibition titled “Timeless Sacrifices.”

The cinema is also showcasing three films. Screenings are free of charge, but visitors have to secure their tickets at the box office desk.

Interestingly, Ithra’s Museum and Library are joining the Founding Day celebrations with extraordinary storytelling experiences.

Ithra will open its doors from 8:30 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. for the duration of the Founding Day celebrations.
