90 Projects Open for Feedback on Istitlaa Platform

The National Competitiveness Center (NCC) has published 90 projects on its Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, covering various economic and developmental affairs. In collaboration with 20 government bodies, the NCC invited the public, government agencies, and the private sector to provide feedback before the projects are officially approved.

Project on Iftar Meal Permits

The General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque introduced the project “Procedural Guide for Iftar Meal Permits during Ramadan Season.”
The guide seeks to regulate and streamline the issuance of iftar meal permits in both mosques during Ramadan. Public feedback is open until September 2, 2025.

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing proposed the project “Amendment to Housing Support Eligibility Regulations.”
The initiative is intended to expand housing support by enabling additional categories of Saudi families to qualify for assistance. Feedback is accepted until September 4, 2025.

The Ministry of Commerce launched the project “Implementing Regulations of Precious Metals and Gemstones Law.”
The framework establishes regulatory provisions for the trade and industry of precious metals, gemstones, and related products, including plated and inlaid items. It also defines monitoring and compliance measures in line with best practices. Consultation is open until September 4, 2025.

Amendments to Tourism Law

The Ministry of Tourism presented proposed “Amendments to the Tourism Law.”
The changes are designed to align the law with regulatory developments while enhancing the quality of tourism services. Public consultation remains open until September 20, 2025.

Digital Content Production Regulations

The Saudi Broadcasting Authority introduced the project “Amendment to Regulations for the Production and Management of Digital Content.”
The revisions focus on Articles 10, 13, and 17 of the existing regulation and invite input from the private sector and stakeholders. Feedback is open until September 20, 2025.

By publishing draft regulations and by-laws on Istitlaa, the NCC underscores its commitment to transparency in the legislative process.
