Deputy Director of the USAID, Andrew Plitt lauded on Monday the economic and social reform program carried out by the Egyptian government to improve the business climate.
The USAID is looking forward to building a strong economic partnership with Egypt within the coming period, Plitt said during a meeting with Investment Minister and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr.
The meeting tackled increasing cooperation between Egypt and the USAID within the coming period.
Egypt’s portfolio with the US side is to the tune of one billion dollars.
The two sides discussed encouraging US companies to pump more investments in the Egyptian market.
US investments in Egypt total 22.8 billion dollars.
