The activities of the Arbitration Forum in its third edition for 2024 commenced in the Asir region. The forum was organized by the Abha Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with King Khalid University. The event also featured the participation of a distinguished group of specialists and academics in the field of arbitration.
Moreover, the Abha Chamber stated that the Arbitration Forum 2024 aims to establish an environment conducive to institutional work in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
The forum’s activities covered several key themes, including arbitration in light of the Asir Region Vision, arbitration in real estate disputes, arbitration in engineering cases, and the invalidity of arbitration rulings. Participants emphasized the critical role of arbitration as a means of resolving commercial disputes and its contribution to dispute resolution, given the benefits and advantages it offers to disputing parties. They also highlighted its importance in promoting the principles of justice, integrity, and transparency, fostering a culture of arbitration, and encouraging investments in the region in accordance with comprehensive quality indicators.
