Two women appointed as assistants at the holy mosques for the first time in Saudi history

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand and the Prophet’s Mosques recorded the highest leadership position for women in its history.

This coincides with the issuance of the decision to create an assistant agency position for the empowerment of women.

It was announced during the coronation ceremony of 20 women who obtained masters and doctoral degrees, which were imitated in high leadership positions in the presidency.

 This comes in light of the existing efforts to empower women in the Two Holy Mosques, make the most of the distinguished female cadres, and harness their efforts to serve visitors, pilgrims, following the (2030) vision.

New Women-Friendly structure

 Dr. Fatima bint Zaid Al-Rashoud was appointed as an assistant to the president for women’s affairs, and Dr. Al-Anoud bint Khalid Al-Aboud was appointed as an assistant to the general president for women’s development affairs.

On the other hand, the Presidency intends to train 320 Saudi female employees, after the Presidency announced yesterday the launch of the training program entitled “Hayyak” to raise the quality of reception in the “Female Doors” department.

 This training program aims to improve the level of services for beneficiaries, to achieve their satisfaction through the quality of reception.
